Culcheth Tennis Club is a part of the larger Culcheth Sports and Social Club (The Daten) which has one of the biggest facilities of its type in the North West of England. The club offers a wide range of sports and leisure opportunities together with a large bar and catering facilities.
The club is located near the centre of Culcheth on the north side of Warrington in Cheshire.
The tennis club is actively working towards gaining Clubmark Status, and as a part of this initiative, has appointed a new club coach in March 2010. The new coach will not only provide coaching for current members, but will be working with local primary schools to find and attract new junior talent at all levels from Mini red upwards.
The 2010 season was extremely successful for the club with the Gents second team being promoted to 1st division and the mixed 2nd and 3rd teams both gaining promotion. The mixed team reached the final of the J.L.Ardern trophy. We now have 2 Gents teams and 1 Ladies Team and 2 mixed teams in the Top Divisions of the Warrington League This reflects the enthusiasm and vibrancy which the club has developed in the last few years.
